The Artist

I have a BFA in metalsmithing, and in another life, a BS degree in pharmacy. Being creative is my first love. My first jewelry creation was around age five. I made a tie bar out of a bobby pin and a glued on rhinestone for my dad. Later, after a family trip to Florida I made earrings out of the tiny shells we collected on the beach. I loved the way those earrings would remind me of my first ocean and that wonderful family vacation.

As an adult I’ve realized when rings and bracelets are seen by the person wearing them there is the potential for a spark of joy, love, a moment of happiness. It’s definitely a power of which I want to be a part. Women of ancient Greece wore a type of chandelier earrings because they jingled and that felt good. This is what I want to do for you.

I believe strongly that we are all on a path and it has taken me quite a while to strike out on my own to pursue this first love. I am elated to bring you these pieces of wearable art. I hope each one gives you reason to smile on your journey.
