Poppy Necklace with Two Bails

This pendant gives new meaning to a flower chain. An enchanting red poppy is suspended on either side by an oxidized, patterned oval chain. The bright red blossom gets its color from an applied heat (Hido) patina. Lovely on it’s own or layered with another longer necklace.

Hido is a Japanese heat patina on copper that results in brilliant, iridescent pinks and reds. Colors will have varying results and each pendant will be unique. This patina will prove to be durable if treated carefully. Do not expose to hot water and please take care to remove your pendant before taking a shower or jumping in the water.
